Our highly qualified instructors are proficient in the realm of dance and education. We are proud to have the largest team of staff members of any dance studio in the Georgian Triangle. Our staff are trained under the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD), British Associations of Teachers of Dancing (BATD), Acrobatic Arts, Acrobatique, and Associated Dance Arts for Professional Teachers (ADAPT), with additional accreditations including Professional Adjudicators Alliance membership,  and Diplomas/Degrees in Dance, Education and more. Many of our instructors are also trained in anatomy, injuries, and proper movement patterning. This means The DanceRoom’s teacher’s not only know how to dance, but know how to properly implement dance curricula in an encouraging, productive, and safe manner.
Jennifer Campbell

Jennifer is an accomplished adjudicator, studio director, instructor, choreographer and performer. She has acted as a judge for events across Canada and is fluent in teaching, choreographing and performing Hip Hop, Musical Theatre, Acrobatics, Tap, Contemporary, Jazz, Modern, and Ballet. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Honors) Dance Degree and Bachelor of Education (Dance and Social Sciences) Degree both from York University. She is a certified Acrobatic Arts Instructor and a member of the Professional Adjudicators Alliance. Jennifer is currently registered with the ADAPT Teacher Training School. She has completed her first year of the program under the direction of some of Canada’s leading dance professionals including Mr. Brian Foley and Mrs. Faye Foley. Jennifer has successfully completed dance examinations in Ballet (R.A.D.), Jazz (C.D.T.A.), Tap (I.S.T.D.), and Modern (I.S.T.D.). She has produced performances, working with notable dancers such as Isaiah Peck (The Next Step), Shelby Bain (The Next Step), Thomas Colford (Backstage), and Paul Gordon (Hairspray) among others.

As an accomplished studio director since 2004, Jennifer serves over three-hundred dancers with eight instructors on staff. Her studio has been awarded Best Dance Studio in Southern Georgian Bay 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2017 and Best Summer Camp 2016 and 2017. She is also the proud recipient of several Entrepreneurial awards. Jennifer’s dancers have received countless first overall awards, choreographic awards, best in style awards, and national/international scholarships. She is contracted regularly by schools across Simcoe County to deliver effective and engaging dance curricula and frequently requested to perform and choreograph for community and corporate events. Jennifer stays current in the dance field by hosting and attending master classes and seminars with North American dance professionals.

Susie Felice
Susie FeliceSenior Dance Coach
Susie has spent most of her 20+ years competing in the GTA in all styles of dance. She has traveled to New York City, Myrtle Beach, Orlando, Detroit, Kalamazoo and other cities to expand her dance knowledge. Her passion lies in the ability to teach students how to express and perform while always progressing and improving on their skills and techniques. Susie has completed her RAD Intermediate level Ballet exam and enjoys applying all ballet techniques to other styles of dance. Susie has been a member of Dance Masters of Canada and competed in Miss. Petite, Miss. Teen and Miss. Dance pageants which offered a wealth of experience when it came to performing at auditions, modeling as well as group and solo performances. Susie’s main objective is to promote confidence, grow skill base and encourage freedom of expression. She holds her dancers to a high standard of discipline and respect. Ultimately, Susie hopes to show her dancers how to express their love for dance just like she did as a performer and help them reach their technical and artist goals throughout the dance season. Whether it be in a hip-hop, jazz or conditioning class Susie will always aim for growth and progression thus allowing her dancer to build upon their skills week after week. Susie looks forward to meeting new dancers each and every year and seeing the endless possibilities that we can create as a collaborative group.
Jennifer MacKinnon
Jennifer MacKinnonB.A.T.D. Member
Since the age of 3, Jennifer has been presented with world-class opportunities and experiences that have helped mould her into the performer she is today. She possesses a keen interest and professional training in various disciplines including Highland (competitive), Classical Ballet, Jazz, Modern and Tap. In her competitive career, Jennifer has received awards both nationally andinternationally, most notably 3rd in North America for Solo Choreography (North American Sadie Simpson Scholarship, B.A.T.D.). Through dancing, Jennifer’s love for the stage grew, allowing her to extend her training in acting and singing, and landing lead roles in fully mounted stage productions. Several of her theatre credits include Dancing For Life and Dancing For Life… Because You Can (Ann Milne), “First Witch” in William Shakespeare’s Macbeth (Owen Sound Little Theatre, O.S.L.T.), “Holly Adams” in Bernard Slade’s An Act of The Imagination (O.S.L.T.), and “Hermia” in William Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Theatre Georgian Bay). As an instructor, Jennifer was choreographer for her students in the Owen SoundAcademy of Performing Arts 2014 production of “Welcome to Broadway”, on Rogers TV, as well as O.S.L.T.’s production of Irving Berlin’s White Christmas. After spending two years in Toronto, Ontario refining her techniques as a triple threat performer, she is honoured to share her passion and knowledge with her students!
Kat Salvador
Kat SalvadorBFA Dance; Tap & Adult Instructor
Kat Salvador has been dancing since the age of 3 and grew up focusing on tap and jazz dance. In high school she attended Canterbury, a school of the arts in Ottawa, and majored in voice with a minor in dance. She continued her arts education at York University where she graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Dance. After university Kat continued to dance in an Afro-Caribbean dance company and started performing all over Toronto in venues large and small. She learned the rare and difficult skill of dancing on stilts and performed with a stilt dance company for two years. She then went back to her tap roots to perform for several years with Alana Hock, and later with the Sole Sisters. Regular adult ballet classes at the National Ballet of Canada in Toronto helped to keep Kat’s ballet training fresh throughout the years and her burlesque performances enforced a feeling of confidence and empowerment. Kat is now very happy to be a part of The DanceRoom family and looks forward to sharing her dance and performance knowledge with her students while honing her skills as a teacher.
Alicia Smith
Alicia SmithA.D.A.P.T Cert; Acrobatic Arts Cert; Dipl. Dance Performance
Alicia is a graduate of the Holland College School of Performing Arts, having obtained her diploma in Dance Performance. She is fully certified in the ADAPT jazz and tap syllabus with the ability to take dancers to examinations. Alicia herself has completed examinations in tap, jazz and ballet, and has attended many workshops across the country. Her works have received numerous choreographic, overall, and special awards. Some of her dance career highlights include traveling with the National Ballet Team to compete in World Dance Week held in Poland, working with contemporary company Le Fils D’Adrien Danse, performing in various awards shows, and dancing in the Mackenzie Theatre as well as on the Confederation Stage. Alicia runs dance programming for various public schools across the Muskoka region, and provides both workshops and choreography for community theatre programs. Alicia is currently working towards obtaining her Junior Acrobatique certification.
Danelle Wood
Danelle WoodBA; BEd; Early Years Dance Educator
Along with over 26 years of dance experience, Danelle is a graduate of Nipissing University’s Concurrent Education program, having received a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology and a Bachelor of Education degree with primary, junior and intermediate qualifications. She is a proud member of the Professional Adjudicator’s Alliance. Danelle has attended the renowned Quinte Ballet School for their summer training, and has successfully completed several Cecchetti ballet examinations. Her performance credits include the Muskoka Galla, and major roles in the local production of The Nutcracker as the Sugar Plum Fairy and Snow Queen. When not at the studio, Danelle is an active Kindergarten teacher.
Alyona Seregeli
Alyona SeregeliMA Dance; MA Rhythmic Gymnastics; Holistic Body Works Cert.
Alyona is a graduate of the University of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism with Honors in Russia. She earned a Master Degree in Dance as a Component of Physical Education for Children 5-6 Years Old and a Master of Sports in Rhythmic Gymnastics (Russian Accreditation). Alyona is a registered Acribatique AcroDance Instructor after having completed her Acrobatique Certification Course. She is a professional and certified dance instructor, yoga instructor and rhythmic gymnastics coach. She is also certified in Latin dance, pole dance (all levels), and aerial circus (aerial hoop, aerial silks). As a yoga instructor, Alyona is certified to teach Hatha Yoga, Yoga Flow, and Hot Yoga. She is also a graduate of Holistic Body Works. Her work has taken her all over the world including China, Taiwan, Turkey, UAE, and Europe. Alyona has performed and instructed for over 15 years and is equipped with her CPR and First Aid training certificate.
