The DanceRoom has been in business for 14 years, now home to nearly 300 dancers. Located in Stayner – Central to Collingwood, Angus, Wasaga Beach, Minnesing, Angus, Creemore, and New Lowell, we offer recreational, competitive, and adult classes. Programming includes our nine-month fall program, non-performative classes, exam classes, short term spring and summer sessions, summer dance camps, and workshops/master classes. The DanceRoom is proud to be voted best local dance studio 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017.

Pricing & Instructors

Our motto and promise to you “keeping dance fun & affordable” stems from a belief that dance should be enjoyable and accessible to all. Instructors are carefully chosen based on their integrity, ability to motivate, experience in dance education and performance, and their caring approach with dancers. The studio is frequently recognized for age-appropriate choreography, music and costuming. We offer a wide range of affordable programming with no hidden fees.

Superb Training & Service

We proudly offer year-round training enabling dancers to maintain strength, flexibility and most importantly prevent injuries. The DanceRoom hosts workshops with North American Dance Professionals inspiring and expanding dancers’ repertoires. Certified dance syllabi – including ISTD, BATD, PAEC, ADAPT, Acrobatique & AcroArts – are followed to ensure safe, technical movement vocabularies and measurable goals for dancers. We pride ourselves in excellent customer service 7 days a week and are readily available by phone or email.

Giving Back

The DanceRoom believes in giving back to the community and has supported numerous organizations including; JumpStart, Hospice, The Meaford Hall Arts and Cultural Center, the Wasaga Beach Film Festival, New Lowell United Church, Centennial United Church in Stayner, Clearview Community Theatre, Girlfriends Program, Big Sisters, Collingwood, Meaford Hall & Cultural Centre, Stayner Nursing Home, and Sunset Manor.
